What made me start my blog?...Well, I have been thinking about it for a long, long time but never came down to actually writing it.....But I had promised myself that I would get started before the end of the year and it had to be before I leave campus for the vacation....So here I am writing my first blog at 11 PM in the night when I have to get up at 4 to catch an early morning flight to B'bay (I hope my Mom never gets to read this coz otherwise I am in for a scolding)
The last 18 months have been an experience of a lifetime......I have achieved a lot during this time but as always I could have done better......Made a lot of friends.......Mixed experiences - moments of joy and ecstacy interspersed with disappointments and missed opportunities galore........I have worked very hard these 18 months - first in SCON and then FY......and I have earned the respect of a lot of ppl.....And I can proudly say that I never compromised on my principles and have never shirked my reponsibilities nor done freeriding on anyone else.
Now its time for me to plan ahead....What do I want to do in life? Do I want to go into Corporate Finance or Treasury or I-Banking?.....I have given myself 1 week to decide on this...Hopefully the break will help me.
And its time to break free from the shell I live in....from living with the memory of past mistakes and lost chances....from my inhibitions and fears
